Saturday the 12th of September brought on a first for Blacktrack Performance with the team entering five of its customer’s cars in Auto Salon Newcastle. Among hottest modified rides and hi performance dyno action the weekend was non stop entertainment
With a brand new set up, Blacktrack Customer Steve Boyd brought home the trophy for “Best Overall Engineered” with his SR20 Triton ute which is now setup to run methanol and is expected to run in the 9 second bracket.
Paul Dethick brought home the trophy for “Best Innovative Conversion” with his Blacktrack Performance 13BT Hilux Ute which is currently featuring in this months HOT 4’s Issue.
Well known customer Shane Crichton took along his newly rebuilt Blacktrack Performance Cressida which was quite a hit amongst the countless onlookers. And Murray Bignell’s 11 Second Ford XR6T attracted a lot of attention with his 580HP Dyno Graph and display of modifications.
Wrapping the weekend up TOYGSR owner Jo Walsh was thrilled with bringing home the trophy for the 4 cylinder AWD highest power output Dyno competition with a 435Hp reading from a six year old import engine. Keep an eye out for this lancer in upcoming Hot4’s Mag. |
